So here it is, folks. We are finally able to post the job description of the position that we will be adding to the leadership team soon! This was the result of hours of conversations and brainstorming with both staff and elders and we are excited about where we landed.
We, the elders, are also going to be hosting a Town Hall meeting after church next Sunday, November 19th to help answer any questions you may have. We will address some of the questions we have already received from partners, but also a few that we anticipate you might have in light of the job description. Once we have addressed some of the main questions we will open up the floor for a brief time of Q and A. So if you have any questions, bring them with you on the 19th, email us, or fill out the form below.
We don't have a whole lot to update you all on right now as far as the process of adding another staff member. We are working diligently to move the process forward and right now we are putting the job description together making sure it communicates clearly what our church will need and what the new hire would need to expect as they join the team.
The plan, right now, is to compile and clean that up and then post the open position on November 12th. So we are close.

We want to say right up front, we know that this transition is on the top of your mind right now and it might feel like you have very little sense in where the church is going. That is not because we are purposefully holding anything back. We also don't want to get ahead of our skis and announce something that is not fully formed that we will have to backpedal on later.
We have decided to use this page on the website to make sure you have a place to get the latest information. Sometimes we will have big updates and other times we won't have much to report. But we definitely want to keep you all in the loop.
The elders and staff have been meeting and discussing how this could be a great opportunity.
We are asking questions like, "How we can best love our community and invite them into a life-changing relationship with Jesus through kids, students, and adult ministries? How do we meet the challenges and anticipate future opportunities as we move forward?" Those conversations have been fruitful. We are really excited about where they have led. And because of that we anticipate that we will have a job description for the open position soon.
