Community Life Team

Focus of this Ministry: Community Life volunteers do more than just give the announcements on a Sunday Morning. This teams volunteers goal is to bring knowledge of serving opportunities to our congregation along with celebrating the victories God has brought to BCC. Our mission is to seamlessly transition from times of worship to a time where members and visitors can understand that BCC is more then just a church that meets for one hour each week.


Mission: To effortlessly communicate the mission, actions and opportunities of BCC to the entire congregation both in person ad online from the stage each Sunday Morning.


Who can serve: Open to select adults and students who have an ability to present from stage effortlessly.

Team Member Responsibilities (typical Sunday):

  • Arrive 1 hour before the start of service (9:30 am) to meet with the worship team to run thru the service.
  • Practice the materials each week before arrival at church until you can memorize enough that most of the focus is looking at the congregation instead of our notes.
  • Pray for the congregation before entering g the stage that they are ready to receive the information you are presenting.

  • When Ministry is Performed:

  • Every Sunday on your specific Month.
  • One or two months per year

  • Time Requirements:

  • 60 minutes before church on your specific month and 3 minutes on stage
  • Total: 63 minutes per week

  • Length of Commitment: 12 Months (~4-8 days.)


    Training: Provided on-site


    Responsible To: The Community Life Team Leader

    Creative Planning Team

    Focus of this Ministry: The Creative Planning Team [CPT] serves to offer creative insights to more effectively communicate the Gospel of Jesus at BCC.


    Mission: Draw on experience, skill, artistry, and creativeness to offer innovative and visionary ideas to effectively communicate thematic elements in each sermon series.


    Who can serve: Open to all adults

    Team Member Responsibilities (typical Sunday):

  • Study Message series planning documents prior to each meeting.
  • Meet in the weeks before a new series is launched to offer ideas and insights, songs, videos, art, and other creative elements that may be explored for use in the series.

  • When Ministry is Performed:

  • Approximately one, to two months before the beginning of a new sermon series.

  • Time Requirements:

  • The meetings usually last about 90 minutes.

  • Length of Commitment: 12 Months


    Training: None necessary


    Responsible To: Worship Minister

    Production Team

    Focus of this Ministry: The Worship and Production Teams exist to Connect People to Jesus, by leading the weekend gathering in the exclamation of the greatness of God. We strive to accomplish this by crafting meaningful services that are Christ-centered, believer edifying, and seeker comprehensible. We value unity, honor, attitude, discipline, humility, teach-ability, respect, community, and skill.


    Mission: To Lead the weekend gathering in the exclamation of the greatness of God.


    Who can serve: Open to all adults and mature teenagers

    Team Member Responsibilities (typical Sunday):

  • Team members are expected to be or become fluent in the OneChurch software application. This is how we schedule, communicate, plan and share musical content (practice tracks, music charts) with the worship/production team.
  • Team members are expected to come to rehearsals having prepared their offering of service well. This means practicing the music during the previous week(s) and knowing both the part and role you are to play in each song or element of the service.

  • When Ministry is Performed:

  • ON average, twice per month (sometimes 3 if there are 5 Sundays in a month)
  • Special events: As needed (Christmas Eve, Community Outreach events, etc)

  • Time Requirements:

  • Personal Rehearsal: Between 45 -90 minutes during the week on the weeks you serve.
  • Sunday Morning: Approximately 3.5 hours (8:30 am – 12:00 pm) on the Sundays you serve.

  • Length of Commitment: 12 Months (~28 days total)


    Training: Provided on-site
