Parent Hacks- Technology and Teens

June 5, 2019 @ 9 pm

We believe that safe adults that take a significant interest in the lives of teenagers can change lives. We also agree with the current research that says, the number of older church partners that know a particular teens name directly correlates to the likelihood that a student follows Jesus after high school.

Bridgetown Church of Christ has a Child and Youth Protection Policy in place that follows and/or exceeds the current protection policies of the surrounding school districts. Everyone of of our adult volunteers is run through a background check and sex offender registry search on a yearly basis. Our ministry staff undergoes an FBI background check as well. We do our very best to keep your students safe at any and all of our events.

Church Involvement

One of the ways we try to integrate students into the church at large is by how we structure our Sundays. For more info, click here.

Of course we also believe that it is important to create space for teenagers to connect with one another and have fun while learning about Jesus and what it means to follow him. We want every student that comes through a bcsm program to know that they have a COMMUNITY here, they have a PLACE in that community and a MISSION outside of it. But more than that we want them to know that Jesus is NECESSARY, Jesus IS, and Jesus is AWESOME!
