Giving Changes You
The act of giving makes you more like the generous Creator. It is a part of the Discipleship Pathway. God is the ultimate giver who gave the most precious gift, His son Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins.
Giving Changes Our Community
When you give to BCC, you can trust that your gift will be used to build up the community. As a part of our vision to love our community and invite them into a life-changing relationship with Jesus, Bridgetown is a debt-free church. All of our financial transactions are monitored by a third-party professional accounting firm. We take the stewardship of the funds entrusted to our care seriously and want to pour everything we can back into ministry.
Giving Changes the World
Shortly before Jesus ascended, He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
In order to fulfill that commission, Bridgetown partners with the following seven local, national, and international mission groups. Ten percent of general fund giving goes to support these missions. We also support them with our prayers and designate a day of the week to pray for each specific mission.
