SUNDAYS @ BRIDGETOWN CHURCH

We are excited that you are checking out Bridgetown Church. Whether you are planning to attend in-person on a Sunday morning or join us online, you are welcome!

SERVICES

Every Sunday at 10:30am Bridgetown Church offers an in-person worship service as well as a livestream of the service. If you can't join us in-person or watch the livestream, the service is available anytime here on our website & on the church's YouTube Channel

WHAT TO EXPECT

Bridgetown Church offers programming for adults, children, and students.

  • For adults we have an in-person & online service that features modern, upbeat, and engaging musical worship, opportunities for prayer & communion, and a message that connects the Bible to your life.
  • For children 12mos-5th grade Bridgetown Kids offers in-person programming that is safe, fun, and age-appropriate. There is a secure check-in & check-out process and all volunteers have gone through training and have a yearly criminal background check. For moms with children 0-12mos the Nursing & New Moms Room is available anytime. The room features a livestream of the service, comfy chairs, privacy for feeding, toys, and emergency supplies. There is also a Family Room available for families with younger kids who would rather stay with you. This room is located at the back of the sanctuary and has sound & a view of the stage so you don't miss out on the service.
  • For students in 6th-8th grade bcsm is led by trained & screened volunteers who are ready to give your students an in-person environment & experience designed just for them .

No matter your age or stage in life, attending a church for the first time can be nerve-racking, so we’ve worked hard to create a welcoming environment from the moment you arrive. For those joining us in-person we want you to feel welcome from the moment you drive into the parking lot & walk through the doors.  For those joining us online we want you to feel welcome the moment you click play.

What days & times are the services? In-Person & Livestream Services are on Sundays at 10:30am. You can tune-in to the livestream here. If you miss the service or would like to check out past services, you can do that  here.

What are the adult services like? Each adult service has the following components:

  • Musical Worship - You can participate by singing, clapping, standing, sitting, or any other way that suits you. The songs are a mix of newer & older songs.
  • Message - The Word of God, the Bible, has the power to change lives. The message will focus on a specific section from the Bible and how it applies to our lives today.
  • Prayer - Prayer is talking to God & you will have the opportunity to try it. You will not be asked to pray out loud or publicly.
  • Communion - Communion is a time where we remember what Jesus did for us when died on the cross. Communion is open to anyone who trusts in & follows Jesus.
  • Offering - Offering is when we encourage those who consider Bridgetown Church to be "their church" to support the on-going work of the church. There are no plates, baskets, or buckets passed and it is optional.

What should I wear? For some families, Sunday is the day to wear a pretty dress or a suit and tie. For others it's a day to wear a pair of blue jeans & a t-shirt. Wear what you're comfortable in.

Are my kids welcome? YES! Bridgetown Kids (BCC's Children's Ministry) & bcsm (BCC's Student Ministry) offer age-appropriate programming for kids & students. Both ministries are led by teams who have been trained & background checked. There are also separate spaces set aside for moms with children 0-12mos & also for families with younger children who would prefer to stay with their family. For moms with children 0-12mos, we offer a Nursing & New Moms Room that is available anytime. The room features a livestream of the service, comfy chairs, privacy for feeding, toys, and emergency supplies. There is also a Family Room available for families with younger kids who would rather stay with you but would like a little freedom to play & roam without disrupting the service. This room is located at the back of the sanctuary and has sound & a view of the stage so you don't miss out on the service. We are a very kid-friendly church.

Is there check-in for kids & students? Yes. YES! Bridgetown Kids (BCC's Children's Ministry) & bcsm (BCC's Student Ministry) have a check-in & check-out process. On your first visit your family will be asked to provide basic information for each person in the family. The registration process occurs only on the first visit. If you want to make the process faster, you can create an account here. Creating an account will allow the Guest Check-In Team to more quickly get everyone in the family registered & heading off to where they need to go.

Can I bring a friend? YES! Bring 1, 2, or 20 with you.

Where should I park? For an aerial view of our parking lots & locations, click here. When you arrive, you'll be able to find parking in our main lots, in front and behind of the office complex next door, along the back drive behind the church, and in the gravel lot behind the lower level. In other words, there is plenty of well-lit, free parking.

Do you have a church app? Yes. You can download the church app for iOS here & Android here. The first time you open the app enter 45211 into the zip code search window & then select Bridgetown Church of Christ.
