(International Conference On Missions)

ICOM, the International Conference On Missions, is being held here in Cincinnati this year November 15-18.

The International Conference On Missions exists to encourage, equip, and enlist workers for the harvest. It is truly an international conference where you have opportunities to talk to and connect with missionaries from around the world. You'll hear amazing stories about the ways the Gospel is changing lives. ICOM will have educational seminars, main sessions, worship, and programs for both children & students.

As a special bonus, Bridgetown Church has paid for a whole-church registration. So there is no cost for those connected to BCC to attend. If you would like more information, head to ICOM's website here.

After church on Sunday, November 25 we are encouraging all our BCC families to spend a bit of time walking through their neighborhoods knocking on doors & simply inviting people to attend one of our special Christmas services. Participants will be trained & resourced to make sure this event isn't awkward or uncomfortable. Set aside the afternoon from 12pm-1:30pm to walk through your neighborhood & then meet up at LaRosa's on Boudinot at 2:00pm for a late lunch.

Christmas decorating

Join us on Monday, November 26 at 6:30pm as we get our church decorated for the Christmas seasonWe’ll listen to Christmas music, have some hot cider, and spread some Christmas cheer. There are trees to assemble (they’re fake) & decorate, wreaths to hang, and other Christmas items to put up. Everyone is welcome, young and old and everyone between.

Bridgetown Church's Women's Ministry is hosting an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party on Saturday, December 8 at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall of the Church. Come in your ugliest Christmas sweater. If you don't have one...consider making one. Or just come to see what others have been able to come up with. Don't miss it. It's sure to be a great time.

Each year in December BCC spends an evening at Hillebrand Nursing Home for Christmas Caroling. This will be our 11th year and it’s a great time every year. It’s a blessing to the residents and a blessing to the carolers too. So be sure to bring your family and sing some Christmas carols with us. Sunday, December 9 at 6:30pm. Meet at Hillebrand. Afterward there’s always a group that heads across the street to Frisch’s.

Senior adult progressive lunch

On Wednesday, December 12, Senior Adults will meet at the church at 11:30am.
From there they will carpool to the first Progressive Lunch location for appetizers.
After that it's on to location two for either turkey or ham and all the fixings.
For their last stop they'll head off to another home for dessert and a few prize giveaways. The event should conclude by 2:00pm.

CHristmastide prayer walk

On December 16 from 6:00pm-8:00pm, Bridgetown Church of Christ is planning a short, refreshing prayer & carol walk through 6 stations. Those participating can expect 30-40 minutes to progress through the stations. Upon completion, head home or stay for cider, hot chocolate and more Christmas tidings.

The idea is to take time during a hectic season to focus on prayer & the singing of familiar Christmas carols.

This will be an event you can invite your friends or neighbors to as well as bring your family to. It will be a low key event that focuses on worship through prayer and singing.  Weather permitting this will be a combination outdoor & indoor event. Weather not permitting it will be indoor only.

We hope you will begin A New Christmas Tradition with Bridgetown Church of Christ on Sunday, December 23. Two identical services are planned for 10:30am & 7:30pm. Both will offer coffee, carols, and candle light along with a short message, free activity packets for kids, and a free photo booth keepsake. Click here for more information.

bcsm, Bridgetown Church's Student Ministry is planning it's annual New Year’s Eve Dance Party for middle & high school students. There will be inflatables, food, fun games, karaoke, prizes, and of course the count down into the New Year complete with dancing like no one is watching.

It kicks off at 8:00pm on Monday, December 31st and goes until 12:30am January 1st.
