Welcome to Bridgetown
10:30am Service: The Sunday morning service at Bridgetown is designed to introduce people to the Christian journey and encourage believers to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Each Sunday we offer a service where you will have the opportunity to participate in all of the following:
Musical Worship: There will be a time of music which we believe to be one way to offer worship to God. You are invited to participate by singing, clapping, or any other posture of worship that suits you. Our service uses modern instruments and mostly modern music for engagement and emotional appeal, while utilizing hymns for their theological significance.
Offering: We believe God calls his followers to give to the church. First a tithe of 10% is expected on a regular basis. Gifts that are over and above a tithe are considered offerings.
Message: We believe the Word of God, the Bible, has the power to change lives. Weekly we will focus on a specific passage and how it applies to our lives today.
Reflection and Communion: This time is set aside for prayer and meditation. All believers are invited to participate. You may partake of the bread and the cup, then return the cup to the tray as it is passed.
Baptism: You may witness a baptism. We believe this event is part of a person’s decision to commit his/her life to Christ (Acts 2:38, 39). Immersion is the occasion at which, through faith, a person comes in contact with the death and resurrection of Christ (Romans 6:1-4; Colossians 2:9-12).
For Those with Children: Children are welcome to attend the adult services at BCC provided they do not become a distraction. Your children are encouraged to attend Bridgetown Kids, our Children's Ministry, where they will receive age-appropriate instruction and have a great time too. We have programming for children birth-8th grade during the 10:30am service. Over the summer months, from June 7th – August 2nd we will have programming called Spark* for Jr and Sr High, most Thursdays at 6 pm.
